Community Visions & Networking has a policy of hiring University and College graduates who have successfully received a two-year college diploma in the Developmental Service Workers Program and who have applied medication training. University graduates in programs with a direct relevance to the supports and services provided by Community Visions & Networking (Quinte) will also be considered.
As a prerequisite to employment, all potential new employees must consent to a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Community Visions & Networking (Quinte) provides a variety of training opportunities to our employees. Training includes: Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), First Aid and CPR, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Training, Ethics of Touch, Medication Administration, Rights and Abuse Awareness.

Community Visions & Networking (Quinte) provides student placements for the Developmental Service Worker Program of Community Colleges.
Our placements allow students to gain a variety of skills to assist them in acquiring an understanding of the types of supports needed in this field of employment.
